Community Guidelines

Last updated: June 2026

At CampusUnite, our mission is to build a collaborative, inclusive, and high-integrity environment for student developers. These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and encouraged to grow.

1. Professional Conduct and Respect

We welcome student developers from all backgrounds, experience levels, and colleges. You agree to:

  • Use welcoming and inclusive language in all chats and forums.
  • Show empathy and respect differences in opinions and skill levels.
  • Offer constructive, encouraging feedback when pair programming or reviewing other students' code.
  • Never engage in harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.

2. Competitive Integrity and Fair Play

CampusUnite holds live quiz competitions, hackathons, and challenge activities. To keep things fair:

  • No Cheating: Never share quiz questions or answers, use scripting/crawlers, or configure automated bots to take contests.
  • Account Integrity: Take competitions using your single, verified personal profile. Creating duplicate burner accounts is prohibited.
  • Tab Switching: Respect the anti-cheat tab-focus checker during live sessions. Leaving the browser window frequently is flagged.

3. No Spam or Plagiarism

Do not publish unsolicited advertising, affiliate links, repetitive promotional messages, or plagiarized coding materials. Share credit where it's due and attribute source code scripts if you borrow open-source blocks for community demo projects.

4. Reporting Guidelines Violations

If you witness code plagiarism, online harassment, or attempts to cheat in quiz competitions, please report it to our administrator. We take all reports seriously and will investigate immediately.

To submit a report, email us directly at support@campusunite.in. Please include descriptive context or screenshots if applicable.

5. Enforcement Actions

CampusUnite moderators review logs and reports. Violations will result in escalating warnings, disqualification from active events, dashboard suspension, or permanent IP blocks, depending on severity.
