Live quiz competitions run a background focus loss listener. Switching browser tabs, opening external links, or minimizing the window triggers warning logs. Frequent violations are flagged in database records and may invalidate scores.

If the timer expires before you click "Submit", our background script triggers an automated POST to `/api/quiz/submit` using all cached answers saved up to that moment. Your progress is fully safe!
